July 9, 2015 (Hartford, CT) – The Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority (CHEFA) has promoted two longtime staff members to Managing Director roles, announced today by Jeanette Weldon, CHEFA’s recently-appointed executive director.

Two Grant Programs Provide Significant Financial Support to Nonprofits

 

CHEFA names next Executive Director

 

The Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority (CHEFA) announced that Jeanette W. Weldon will become its next Executive Director on July 1, 2015, following the retirement of Jeffrey A. Asher, whose career at CHEFA spans 26 years, including six as its chief executive.  See press release.

 

 

 

CHEFA NOW OFFERS FINANCING TO BELOW INVESTMENT GRADE RATED CREDITS

 

In order to be responsive to the needs of our clients and to further facilitate access to the capital markets, the Authority has modified its underwriting guidelines for borrowers seeking to issue bonds that are rated below investment grade. The attached guidelines now apply.
