Governor Lamont Announces Statewide Launch of Free Online Job Training Program for Unemployment Claimants

(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Ned Lamont today announced the statewide expansion of a program that will make free online learning licenses available to recipients of unemployment insurance, including those who have been impacted by the economic fallout of the COVID-19 public health crisis.

University of Saint Joseph Breaks Ground for O’Connell Athletic Center Expansion

On Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019, the University of Saint Joseph celebrated the official groundbreaking of its upcoming expansion to the O’Connell Athletic Center. The building, designed by JCJ Architecture, will provide nearly 40,000 square feet divided between two levels. The space will encompass a new gymnasium, a multipurpose classroom, Student Health Services, a student-athlete training suite with a nutrition center, a hydrotherapy area, and more.
