CHEFA Staff Moderates Connecticut United Ways ALICE Report Town Hall focused on CT Workforce Development

CHEFA Grant Program Manager, Betty Sugerman Weintraub moderated the Connecticut United Ways ALICE Report Town Hall on Workforce Development. The program held on May 18th focused on the ALICE population. ALICE is a United Way-coined acronym that stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed — households with income above the Federal Poverty Level but below the basic cost of living.  In CT, 38% of residents live below the ALICE threshold.
