Block Samples
Below will be demonstrating a number of commonly used blocks.
Heading block
Paragraph blocks are the most common blocks in use. It is also the default so if you just start typing text on the page it will automatically set it as a paragraph block.
The text in a Paragraph block can be Bold, Italic, Strikethrough, Superscript/Subscript and more.
When you hit ENTER and it moves you to another line, it actually generates a second block. In order to go to the next line while NOT starting a new paragraph, use SHIFT + ENTER
Then the next line will go right below but doesn’t break the paragraph.
Why would you want to do this? Because there may be a want for multiple line in one “box” style.
Here is a Box style
I used SHIFT + ENTER to make new lines
while being able to maintain this all in one Box.
Because if I hit ENTER it will create a new box unless all of the Paragraphs are located in a <div> block.
- A list is it’s own block
- All of these elements within this block is added to the list
- Using ENTER to make a new entry
A Quote is a great way to call out something said by somebody

Media & Text
This is a great way to combine text and an image without having the picture have to take up the whole width of the page.

Media & Text can also choose which side is hte image and which side the text portion is.
A separator is a handy piece for seperating thoughts.
Links
Links can be displayed in a couple of ways.
Some links can be placed inline inside a Paragraph block.
Unless the destination is still in the CHEFA.com website, links should be set to open in a New Tab.
Links to Media or elsewhere can be placed in a block by assigning the CSS class to the paragraph.
If you want it to be a link to Email somebody, instead of “https://” you use “mailto:” in front of the address to send.
