CHEFA FY 2026 Nonprofit Grant Program RFP Now Open
The Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority (CHEFA) announces the opening of the FY 2026 Nonprofit Grant Program. The RFP for Letters of Interest (LOI) opens November 24, 2025, with LOIs due no later than December 31, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
The FY 2026 cycle is open to nonprofit organizations serving Connecticut communities and whose:
- Mission is related to one or more of CHEFA’s grantmaking priorities (Childcare, Culture, Education, Healthcare, Human Services & Wellness, and Long-Term Care/Senior Living) as determined by CHEFA in its sole discretion; AND
- Project or program is aligned with one of the FY 2026 funding priorities:
- Infant/Toddler & Preschool Childcare
- College/Career Readiness & Workforce Development Programs
- Community-Based Navigation Services
- Performing Arts Venues/Arts Studios
Eligible organizations are invited to request between $5,000-$75,000 by submitting a Letter of Interest for projects/programs in effect during the grant period of approximately June 30, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
